We’ll be glad to help locate and mark buried utility cable. There is no cost for this service. However, if you don’t call for assistance and you cut the lines, you could be billed for repairs. All “locates” must be reported to Tennessee One Call who will process the order and contact Morristown Utility System with the customer information.

Tennessee law requires 3 working days notice before you excavate. Once the utility is notified, they have 72 hours, excluding holidays and weekends, to locate the underground facilities. The locate ticket is valid for 15 days only.
