1.0  PURPOSE

In the interest of long-term economics and offering of aesthetically pleasing lighting to customers, Morristown Power System (MPS) established this policy for installation of decorative lighting. 

2.1       MPS will, at its discretion, install decorative lighting to any customer, provided the Customer agrees to pay Contribution-in-Aid-to-Construction of one-hundred (100) percent of the difference between standard overhead lighting and the underground decorative lighting costs.

2.2       MPS offers four combinations of decorative Lights. and standards as shown. Installed cost to the Customer for each combination is noted

2.3       MPS offer two types of concrete poles, Octagonal and Talisman. Concrete standards were selected to facilitate installation, minimize physical damage and maintain long term aesthetics.

2.4        MPS offers two glass prismatic light fixtures by Holophane Corporation, Utility Alcorn and Utility Post Top fixtures, both 150 Watt high pressure sodium.  Glass luminaries were selected to mitigate physical and environmental damage.

2.5        All conduits shall be furnished and installed by MPS.
