Morristown Power System offers several rate schedules for commercial/industrial customers. The General Power Rate Schedule GSA covers customers with demands between 0-5000 kW and offers firm power delivery at fixed demand and energy rates. Rate Schedule GSB and MSB applies to customers from 5001 kW to 15,000 kW, also a firm power delivery at fixed rates.
Customers between 1000-5000 kW and those over 5000 kW are eligible for TVA's new 5MR and 60MR programs, which replaces the former Flat Price Interruptible program. These interruptable options require tri-party contracts between TVA, MPS and the customer. The 5MR and 60MR contracts offer a combination of firm and interruptible power levels with credits applicable to the interruptible amount. This provides savings opportunity to customers who can curtail the interruptible load in either 5 or 60 minute periods when called by TVA.
Time of Day rates are available and may benefit the customer who can shift significant load to off-peak periods.
