MORRISTOWN POWER SYSTEM
1. To provide adequate system load capacity to assure first contingency ability to serve distribution loads across the system.
2. To maintain the existing distribution system reliable though system inspection, replacement of defective infrastructure, verifying operational status of switching equipment and right-of-way maintenance.
3. To maintain protective relaying and system automation in a position that achieves high reliability and minimal interruptions to the customer base.
4. To maintain engineering systems, mapping and facilities management in a proactive mode that positions MPS for improvements to work flow and future outage management.
5. To secure telecommunications infrastructure that positions MPS for automatic meter reading, online meter access for industrial customers who are interruptible or desire load management, and for SCADA system improvements required high bandwidth.

1. To provide reliable, abundant and safe water to the MUC service area and purchasing Utility Districts.
2. To provide adequate intake water for supply to the treatment plant.
3. To provide adequate water system capacity to assure first contingency ability to serve distribution loads across the system.
4. To assure flow rates and pressures are sufficient to achieve fire protection requirements.
5. To maintain engineering systems, mapping and facilities management in a proactive mode allows system planning, facility location and outage response.
6. To secure telecommunications infrastructure for remote monitoring and controls for the treatment plant, pump stations and tanks.

MORRISTOWN TELECOM SYSTEM
1. To provide a high-speed broadband fiber optic telecommunications system (FiberNET) that serves the community through competition for progressive video, Internet and voice services.
2. To position FiberNET to deliver a technology infrastructure that is a critical component for providing bandwidth and services that insures business growth and expansion.
3. To assure FiberNET has network-wide access for services to home-based, small and large businesses whereby operating costs are lowered and reliability increased.
4. To provide a telecom system that positions the utility for future services in the areas of internal networks, automatic meter reading, remote equipment control, security monitoring and remote online access by key personnel.
5. To provide a superior level of customer service.
